Hy Research on Peroxide For Toenail Fungus Found…
I will say that during my research I saw more references to using peroxide and vinegar as a treatment for toenail fungus than peroxide and water. I read that using a solution stronger than 3% can cause skin irritation. I found this to be true based on the experiences of others that I read on the toenail fungus forums.
You typically use the peroxide and vinegar as a soaking solution for your toenails. During my research I found the majority of the toenail fungus sufferers soaked their toenails several times a day for 20-30 minutes. I also found that this type of toenail fungus treatment typically takes several months before seeing in any success.
Based on my research there was about a 60% success rate with people using peroxide toenail fungus, but you still had people saying that peroxide and vinegar wouldn’t kill toenail fungus even though that hadn’t tried it themselves. It seemed like most of these people didn’t have the background to state whether it would work or not.
Is Hydrogen Peroxide for Toenail Fungus the Cheapest Treatment?
Using hydrogen peroxide for toenail fungus is probably the cheapest home remedy that you can use. You can usually find hydrogen peroxide for less than a dollar. I’ve seen a 16 oz. bottle of hydrogen peroxide for 89 cents at Walgreens. Distilled white vinegar is also pretty inexpensive and it typically costs around $2 for a 32 oz. bottle.
